A training camp-sized game of tag will be played this spring at the Arizona Diamondbacks’ complex in Scottsdale, Ariz., according to the team.
The game, set for June 6, is a way to get the fans a feel for the team and players before training camp begins.
There will be plenty of action on the diamond, which has been converted into a training field for baseball.
The first day of spring training is April 12.
The Arizona Diamonds will have five practices before the start of camp, which will run from May 14 to June 6.
The team will open training camp on April 15 and play two more exhibition games.
