A train set to run on the city’s famed Brio train will be used to train a runaway train.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MMTC) has announced that it has ordered a train set that is expected to run from Bollywood to the Taj Mahal on the route of the famous Taj Mahals train.
The train will travel at a speed of 30km/h, which is less than half the speed of a typical train that travels at that speed.
The train will not use any kind of diesel.
It will carry a total of 50 passengers.
The ticket will be valid only for a maximum of 10 hours.
MMTC Chairman and Managing Director of Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MRRC) Prakash Mehta said that the train will operate at an altitude of 11,400 feet.
He said that it will take around 15 minutes to reach the Taj, the highest of all the cities in the country.
MRRC Chairman Suresh Kumar Singh said that there is no need to pay the fare as it will not require any concession.
